Sorry! Try as we might, we haven't been able to track down any places to crash in the centre of Igdir.

But there's no need to get yourself into a flap. There is a range of places to base yourself in Ecmiadzin, which is 40 kilometres away from Igdir. These options include the Hostel Glide and Roomer Hotel.

Everyone knows Aussies are pretty relaxed, so consider hanging round a little longer and going to the Waterworld and the Yerevan Botanic Garden in Yerevan, 55 kilometres to the northeast of Igdir. The Armenia Marriott Hotel Yerevan and Royal Tulip Grand Hotel Yerevan are a few of the great hotel and apartment options here.
