After a hot shower and a snuggly bed in Hyytiälä? Unfortunately, lastminute.com.au's database of Finland hotels doesn't list any accommodation in Hyytiälä's centre.

But there's no need to go into a spin. Kuorevesi is located approximately 20 kilometres away and has some impressive hotels, including the Hotel Alexander and Mänttä Summer Apartments.

Everyone knows Aussies just love to have a good time, so consider chilling out a little longer and checking out the Tampere University of Technology and Kaleva Church in Tampere, 45 kilometres to the southwest of Hyytiälä. If you'd like to visit Tampere, look into the Original Sokos Hotel Ilves and Scandic Tampere City. 90 kilometres to the northeast of Hyytiälä you'll find Jyvaskyla, home to the Scandic Jyväskylä and Finlandia Hotel Alba.
