Need a hotel in Hwangji? Unfortunately, they're as rare as the hair on your great uncle Shane's head. But take a teeny drive out and you'll have more choice than you can shake your wallet at. There are 65 different accommodation options within a 30-kilometre radius of Hwangji's main area, so you're sure to find the perfect digs for you.

Although it's on the outskirts, you should look up the Dukmanjae and the Hongranmiduk. The Jeonju Tourist Hotel and The K Jirisan Family Hotel are two more great places to check out.

You might also like to check out the Chunwangbong Pension or The Suites Hotel Namwon. The Chunwangbong Pension is 25 kilometres away from central Hwangji, and the Suites Hotel Namwon is 25 kilometres away. We'd also recommend the Hotel River and the Kensington Resort Jirisan Namwon. The first is 20 kilometres from downtown, while the second is 20 kilometres away.

Attractions and Hotels Near Hwangji

Sure, you could spend your entire break just in Hwangji, but you're gonna come down with a bad case of FOMO. For some truly epic adventures, you've gotta check out North Jeolla's other attractions. Lift your landscape photography game by checking out some of North Jeolla's amazing coastal plains and forests. Old towns are a few more tourist hotspots worth pulling your camera out for. Travellers with a serious appetite for adventure can also fill their days with a little snowboarding, skiing and cross-country skiing in this part of South Korea.

Looking for things to do? Consider spending some time enjoying the Jeonju Zoo and the Sori Arts Center of Jeolla. You'll find them in Jeonju, 30 kilometres to the northwest of Hwangji. If you want to spend a night or two in Jeonju, look into the rates at the Benikea Jeonju Hansung Tourist Hotel and Goodstay Jeonju Wooshin Hotel. 65 kilometres to the southwest of Hwangji you'll also find Gwangju, home to the Holiday Inn Gwangju and Ramada Plaza Gwangju. Whether you're shooting through or staying in Gwangju, set aside some time to visit the Chosun University Museum of Art and May 18 Democracy Square.
