Even though there are no listed hotels in Hwaho-ri's centre, there are 15 digs within 30 kilometres where you can have a kip (and maybe hit the mini bar).

After falling back to sleep a couple of times (you're on holidays, after all!), drag yourself out of bed at Best Western Gunsan Hotel and Oscar Suite Hotel and you'll find yourself in Hwaho-ri in no time.

Sitting 25 kilometres away and home to the Jeonju Zoo and the Sori Arts Center of Jeolla, it's bound to be an unforgettable trip! Jeonju accommodation options include the Jeonju Tourist Hotel and Benikea Jeonju Hansung Tourist Hotel. Or, you could stay in Gwangju, 60 kilometres to the south of Hwaho-ri, where you can choose from the Holiday Inn Gwangju and Ramada Plaza Gwangju. The Chosun University Museum of Art and May 18 Democracy Square are up there with the most popular sites to experience in Gwangju.

Unless you're going to crash on the floor at Gunsan Airport, it's probably a good idea to book some accommodation. The Western Hotel is pretty close by, or you could always travel into Hwaho-ri's centre. It's 30 kilometres away.
