If you're after somewhere to stay in Huwei, Taiwan, there aren't too many places nearby. But take a quick drive out and you'll have more choice than you can shake your room-booking index finger at. Sitting 60 kilometres to the northeast of Huwei is Puli, a regional hub with a population of 86,000.
