Hotel options in Humes' downtown area are pretty thin on the ground. But if you're up for a short drive, you can comfortably stay in one of the 2 hotels within 10 kilometres of the centre.

You might also like to stay at the Parkhotel Weiskirchen, which is 25 kilometres away. Or otherwise you might prefer the Victor's Residenz-Hotel Saarbruecken, just a distance of 18 kilometres from Humes. The Victor's Seehotel Weingärtner, 20 kilometres away, and the Best Western Victor's Residenz-Hotel Rodenhof, 15 kilometres away, are some alternate options.

Beer or champagne? However you prefer to roll, you're certain to enjoy a trip to Saarbruecken, 17 kilometres away. With Saarbruecken Castle and Ludwigskirche to explore, you're not gonna be bored. Make your way 50 kilometres northwest and you'll find yourself in Trier, a regional centre with a population of 100,000. While you're in this neck of the woods, you'll be able to whip out your camera and get your tourist on at the Rhineland Museum, Cathedral of Trier and Church of Our Lady. Roman Bridge and the Porta Nigra are a couple more sights that are sure to offer up some choice photo ops.
