great place!! felt super safe as a woman travelling solo! the continental breakfast in the morning was yummy and the inn staff was very informative, patient, and receptive.

The place was very clean ... Very quiet ... And the staff was very very helpful. My wife and I will make it out frequent getaway.

There were no tires or dock cushions on the pier. First place I’ve rented on Shawano Lake in over 45 years of coming to this lake with a boat that didn’t have any tires or dock cushions to keep your boat from getting scratched. And it’s extremely shallow and on windy days the wave make it hard enough to dock but boat control was difficult due to keeping the motor high enough to not bottom out but still keep water circulation and some boat control. The use of tires our other dock cushions would have been a huge help docking the boat in high wind and wave conditions that are typical on Shawano Lake. Cabin was clean but it’s not the best if you bringing a fishing boat. Too shallow and no dock cushioning at all. Bring plenty of your own.

The cottage was very attractive from the outside and the inside. Big trees around the property and one entrance had a handicapped ramp which was very helpful to me with mobility issues. The inside was extremely clean and well organized. Large free-standing fireplace and attractive furnishings. The big kitchen/dining room had plenty of space for a family. Plenty of beds/bedrooms and comfortable beds. There was also a garage for an outdoor party and a fire pit with chairs. A large deck with chairs and a grill is around the cottage. The area around Suring, Wisconsin is so beautiful and in a National Forest. We were in the area for a dog event so really appreciated being able to stay with our dogs in this very nice home away from home. The owners gave us excellent communication and responded promptly to our texts. We would definitely stay here again!

Building and lobby were nice. Room looked okay entering, bed was comfortable but shower did not work and faucet barely let out water. A bit outdated overall.

Nice and relaxing place. Enjoyed the hot tub and cozy fireplace.
