The location was perfect for the rodeo. The staff in the other hand. They placed a hold on my credit card and as yet to release it. When I call I talked to 1 person who places 2 more holds on my card. I call to try and get them to release and I am placed on hold and no one come back or they just hang up. Going on a month with no response or help.

I liked that it was close to the NRG stadium perfect I’d say … I was not thrilled with the dining at the bar area … food was not the greatest…staff hard to understand.. food too bland no taste we had no options for our strips such as honey mustard or Ranch asked for extra ketchup server never came back that was the first night … second night we were giving this place another shot we ordered pizza and it was not worth what we paid for ..our room came with no refrigerator or microwave not sure if that’s how it works with this room option but others did say they had both in there room..for price of this stay it should have had both I think ….but breakfast was great .. no complaints about that.

What I LOVED was walking distance to the Houston Rodeo! And the price was GREAT. I didn’t love the property or rooms. I mean they were fine, just nothing special. And the next door neighbors were having a loud patio party until 2 am. You can hear everything in the rooms. I used the bathroom in the hall near my room (as two teenage girls were hogging my bathroom) and it was late and while I was in the bathroom I could hear two men trash talking as if they were in the bathroom with me. That did not feel safe. And the worst thing, the front desk told me to drive around to the side and I could get to my room from the building. I drive and drove but building 5 was no where to be found. Got out and walked in building 4, and building 6 to try to find it, again nowhere. Called and was told the only way to get to building 5 was through the front. That was such a waste. Then when we went in we asked a worker how to get to our building and he pointed us in wrong direction. What a waste, all that walking! Anyway, the only way I’d stay here again is if nothing else was available. I never though Wyndham would be like a motel hotel.

We stay for the convince during rodeo/show season. But what they charge for daily parking when you’re already staying there is ridiculous. I don’t have a problem with a flat fee but $30 a day is crazy.

This hotel is so money hungry! I stayed for the weekend and they had us pay $30 for parking and tried getting us to pay $30 FOR THE SECOND DAY?? they also charge $18+ for breakfast which is crazy. The AC didn’t work as well so had to call maintenance to come fix it because our room was so humid.

This is an excellent location for the NRG Stadium. However, that's the best thing I can say for this property. The property is at best tired and worn down. I had to change rooms at check in. Front desk employees have no idea how to manage or to talk with guests, feeling it appropriate to keep interrupting conversations to take phone calls or to talk with colleagues. Further, front desk staff have very limited knowledge of any resources around the hotel let alone accessories in the room. The best part was the intelligent and helpful housekeeper who quickly and professionally appraised me of where the hair dryer was in the room (something that the front desk had no idea even existed). Rooms could very well have been clean, but as the decor is worn out, it felt dirty. Breakfast was basic.

This hotel is tired and needs an update, from the rooms to the mechanical systems to the plumbing. There was no hot water the night of our stay and only luke warm water the next morning. There was hair on the bathroom floor and in the shower. If it weren't for the convenience to the NRG grounds, I probably would not choose to stay at this hotel.

We were a guest of the hotel but still had to pay for parking because of HSLR. We reserved for the entire weekend and on the second night the AC went out in out room. We specifically reserved a handicap accessible room but when we had to move to a different room we were given a standard room with made it difficult with the accommodation we needed. The street noise from the 7th floor was very loud. Overall experience this compared to last year was disappointing to say the least.
