The Arlington hotel is a lovely 1920's era hotel in downtown Hot Springs on Bathhouse row. I stayed in the historic section of the hotel. My room had a king size bed. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was small but still okay. No place to put your shampoo bottle. It has a small soap holder built into the shower wall. Not big enough to hold soap and shampoo. The parking lot for the hotel is down the street. $22 to park in the garage parking down the street. There is A LOT of walking. If you have a lot of luggage, it is best to pay for the $30 plus tip valet parking. They will bring your bags to your room. All in all, I would give the hotel 3 stars out of 5.

The bedrooms are old, musty and outdated by decades. Carpet is old and had lots of stains in both rooms that we stayed. The walls and ceilings had cracked paint. The bathroom were in bad shape.

Not bad for a 100 year old building. Housekeeping could be better though. The shower was dirty and there was a wet makeup soaked rag hanging with the clean towels/rags. There was a persistent clanging and ticking sound in the vents when the air was on. Everyone of the staff we encountered was friendly though and really helpful.

The downstairs lobby area is nice and has lovely art deco, however the rooms are OK but not great and there was a lot of noisy construction on the room floors, which was not communicated at check in. No one would be able to sleep after 7 with noise.

The staff were nice. The price was low, although at checkout, I was told that there is an extra "resort" fee of $80 being added. So I think that you should be told upfront what is expected so I will be contacting my credit card co about that. We had to change rooms 3 times-toilet leaking water all over the floor, then no hot water in 2nd room, then no heat in the 3rd room-so they brought a portable heater in and we stayed the 2 days we had prepaid for, and will NEVER EVER go back there -EVER. (And FYI breakfast is for a fee.)

Staff was excellent, room very shabby. Dogs were barking at all hours of the night and walls are PAPER thin. Everything looks like it’s falling apart- paint, trim, and carpets all kinda gross looking. Even the main lobby which you expect to be nice has walls cracking and paint chipping away.

Across the street from Hot Springs National Park. Turn of the 20th century hotel in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Bedding and bathroom were clean. Rooms need some upgrading but think it is limited as to what they can do since this is an historical landmark. Dead bolt to door didn’t work. Great Ice cream shop and nice book store on the Mezzanine level. Starbucks on lower level, but with limited, posted hours.

Room was very very clean. Part of the fun of staying here is the historic aspect of the hotel. Yes, some parts could use some modernization in the room (tv a bit wonky, old ceiling fan and thermostat, etc) but the bed was comfy, plenty of space and space for clothes, and a clean bathroom! It was gorgeous in the room and in the hotel as a whole. Staff in the spa, lobby, bar, hotel… all fantastic and super helpful. If you’re coming to Hot Springs this is the best hotel to do so in my opinion. My only complaints are the tub/shower had bad pressure and was incredibly hard to get the temperature right, the A/C and heat was weak in our room, working but weak, and the parking situation is rough and pretty expensive. We chose to park on the street and it was much cheaper.
