Beautiful historic hotel. It took a very long time to get our luggage brought up to our room. Our walls, baseboards were in poor condition, our floor lamp was all rusty. Our bathtub was all chipped up, it looked awful! There were no towels at the pool.

The Hotel is old and not well preserve. Location is great as you can walk to mostly every where on the touristic street. I booked and paid my stay via Obrtiz (Expedia) and the Hotel Charged to my credit card a $15/night as resort fee and a convenience fee for credit card charges. I was not aware of those charges

The grand dame of Hot springs hotels

The Arlington is a treasure. This was my first visit and I will not stay at this hotel from now on. It t is beautiful, unique and had major historic architecture and important historical significance.

Absolutely loved staying at this beautiful historic hotel. Couldn't be more convenient in terms of walkability to downtown Hot Springs. The biggest treat is the double decker pool and hot tub, which is built into the incline of the mountain just behind the hotel. It's amazing staying at such a gorgeous property that also happens to be on National Park land.

The lobby has been renovated and working the rest. They first gave us an actual key to a room. It had not been cleaned. We had to go back downstairs got another room. The new room had only a shower closet with a rusted fan just above your head. The tile looked grubby. The toilet was right next to one wall. The sink was only a small basin in the corner nowhere to set anything down. Everywhere there were paint peeling in the hall and in our room. The lighting was dark in the hallway. The pool looked dirty.

All interactions with staff were very friendly and helpful. We did the self parking which is a little inconvenient having to travel so far with luggage. Rooms are very old and dated. It’s nice to experience, but I would not want to for several days straight. We were on the floor where the pool was located which was super convenient for the kids! Walls are very thin and can hear the people in the bathroom in the room next to you. Bed was decent. We loved the ice cream on the basement level! Best ice cream around!

So, it's pretty and it's historic, but I wouldn't stay there for more than a day or so. We enjoyed the convenient location but the place really is more "dated" than historic and needs some work. There is a 30x fee to park and a "resort fee" for 15$. Not sure I agree with the resort fee... The beds are Small and the walls are Thin. Was it cool to stay once, yes. Would I go back, no.
