It's located 140 kilometres to the north of Athens, the capital of Greece.

Sitting 40 kilometres to the east, Panormos Beach is a delightful spot to while away a day unwinding by the ocean. Lalaria Beach also offers visitors some pleasant scenery. It lies 25 kilometres to the east.

It's well known that time spent in nature makes you feel happier and healthier. Keeping that in mind, why don't you head 40 kilometres out of Horto to Thermae Sylla Spa? Kanatadika Lake, just 20 kilometres away, is another recommended choice.

Leave a cloud of white powder behind you as you whiz down the slopes at Parnassos Ski Centre. Powder hounds will also want to load up their gear and head to Pelion Ski Centre.

Open your map and head on over to Paou Beach. After that, consider a trip to the Old Radio Museum.
