An overcast afternoon provided perfect conditions for the hike to the falls as well as stunning filtered light for the scene. Watch out though, the rocks are so slippery!! I almost went over many times with the camera gear!

Hopetoun Falls are located in The Otways region of Victoria, Australia in between Apollo Bay and Port Campbell. This beauty is one of the most recognised and photographed waterfalls in the area and its not hard to see why. The waterfall plunges 30 metres into a pool at the base of the falls and is framed with beautiful lush greenery. Who could ask for more?... me of course, I wouldhave liked to seen more water flowing over the falls 😆 It was slightly overcast during my visit with intermittent rain, however as you can see this made for some pretty awesome light through the ferns and on the moss covered rocks.
