Hotels in Holar are limited. With just one place on offer within a 30 kilometres radius, you better act fast.

As if being so close to Holar wasn't enough, Lonkot Rural Resort also offers some seriously comfy beds.

Everyone knows Aussies are pretty relaxed, so consider kicking back a little longer and checking out the Grettislaug and the Tannery Visitor Centre in Saudarkrokur, 20 kilometres to the west of Holar. The Hotel Mikligardur and Hotel Tindastóll are some of the great hotel and apartment options here. Or, you could stay in Akureyri, 50 kilometres to the east of Holar, where you can pick from the Hotel Kea by Keahotels and Icelandair Hotel Akureyri. Hlidarfjall Akureyri and the Icelandic Aviation Museum are among the more popular sites to check out when visiting Akureyri.
