We recently stayed at this property and, while it had many positive aspects, there were a few challenges that impacted our experience.Upon arrival, we were unaware that the Stayz app was required to obtain the entry code. This resulted in a frustrating three-hour wait outside the property while trying to sort out access, and we were advised at the time that the host was unfortunately uncontactable.The listing also mentioned unlimited and free off-street parking. However, due to the location and close access to the ferry, it was extremely difficult to find a spot nearby. In addition, the driveway was partially occupied by a building trailer and construction materials, and we were advised not to park there as the permanent tenant needed access to come and go with their trailer.We also found that many of the property rules appeared to be structured around the needs of the permanent tenant who lives in the backyard.Another difficulty was with the laundry facilities. While a washing machine was provided, there was no dryer available. There are two clotheslines down the side of the house, however we were unable to access them as they belong to the permanent tenant, which made it difficult to make use of the washing machine.That said, the property itself is well appointed and the location is very convenient, which we did appreciate during our stay. With a few clearer instructions and adjustments, the experience for future guests could be greatly improved.
