This is more like a rent a room service than a full hotel service. These are residential apartments owned by individuals who rent out apartments. You need to ring them, otherwise you will be lost when you get to reception.

❌ SHOCKING EXPERIENCE – FAMILIES BEWARE ❌

I’m a frequent traveler with over 40 hotel nights per year around the world, and I’ve never experienced such a lack of professionalism and care – especially when traveling with young children. We had booked Lumière Riverside in Ho Chi Minh City well in advance. We arrived at 1:00 a.m., exhausted after a long international journey, with our 4- and 7-year-old children asleep in our arms… only to be told that our room was no longer available. No message, no warning, no solution. They casually redirected us to a low-end, poorly maintained guesthouse, and even had the nerve to ask for a cash deposit. Without the help of our Vietnamese friend, we would’ve been left stranded in the middle of the night with two small kids. This is not acceptable. Families deserve safety, respect, and reliability – especially when traveling with children. This hotel has shown a total lack of responsibility and should be delisted from all major booking platforms. If I could rate it zero stars, I would. 🚫 Think twice before trusting this place – especially with kids. 🚫
