Historic Downtown Manteo accommodation with spa

Property was a mess, front entrance canopy was in need of repair and looks like they were in no hurry to fix it, ceiling in my bathroom had some paint peeling and towel rack loose on one side, elevator was slow and one went out my second day there. Will never go back to one of their properties. Front desk staff was best thing about the place, room service never came to the room after first night and we had to go get fresh towels. Only stayed the two nights.

Everything was great! Even the breakfast staff was great! I would stay again!

Staff were friendly and very welcoming. We found a few maintenance things that they sprung into action to take care of. We were in a suite with a sitting room. The room was quaint and offered a wonderful outdoor porch. The only con to our stay is how uncomfortable the bed was. It was hard and spring filled which kept us tossing most the night with lack of comfort. We left before breakfast, so we aren’t sure how that was, but it smelled good! We did dine at the in house restaurant. It was ok, but nothing to write home about. Our biggest enjoyment of our stay was the location. The view is astounding and you’re within walking distance of everything downtown Manteo and it’s only a short drive to the Nags Head if you want more activities.

This is our third stay with Ramada. The Beachcombers tiki bar is so awesome and the pool is so nice but… the mattress we slept on last night was not the most comfortable and I do understand that everyone has different preferences when it comes down to mattresses but we barely slept… well vacation is not for sleep, right ? but we are exhausted. Other than that we loved it! Please upgrade your mattresses 🙏

Great place to stay

Private access to the beach and 2 nice pools were a huge plus for picking this property. Loved the location too!
