High Falls State Park is a 1,050-acre Georgia state park located near the city of Jackson. It is the site of a prosperous 19th-century industrial center, which became a ghost town when it was bypassed by the railroad.
Spring hiking. Gorgeous waterfall
No hikes required. Can see this view from a pull off.
High falls state park is a perfect place for a picnic. While there we saw this guy, I think an African goose. And his gaggle. I was about half a foot away for this and he was bold enough to fly onto out table to try to nab some food.

I had issues with getting the room I booked vs the room I received and the staff was unwilling to fix the problem, otherwise the hotel was well kept.
