Hotels in Heungdeok-myeon are pretty hard to find. However, you can take your pick of 2 comfy digs within 30 kilometres of Heungdeok-myeon's centre. Just think of the drive as a little extra sightseeing!

Daemyung Byeonsan Resort and Benikea Starhills Hotel are some great choices! They're as close to Heungdeok-myeon as you'll get.

Attractions and Hotels Near Heungdeok-myeon

But don't just limit your travels to Heungdeok-myeon. Take an extra day or two to explore some of the spectacular attractions and activities that the wider North Jeolla region offers. Lift your landscape photography game by visiting some of North Jeolla's gorgeous coastal plains, forests and rivers. Old towns and fortresses are a few more popular tourist stops worth pulling your camera out for. Additionally, if you've ever wanted to go snowboarding and skiing, you'll have the chance to in this corner of South Korea.

Gwangju is another place where you can sit back and order up room service like a boss. Sitting 45 kilometres south of Heungdeok-myeon, it's where you'll discover the Chosun University Museum of Art and May 18 Democracy Square. Some of our recommended Gwangju hotels are the Holiday Inn Gwangju and Ramada Plaza Gwangju. 50 kilometres to the northeast of Heungdeok-myeon you'll find Jeonju, home to the Jeonju Tourist Hotel and Benikea Jeonju Hansung Tourist Hotel. The Jeonju Zoo and the Sori Arts Center of Jeolla are some of the most popular points of interest to check out when visiting Jeonju.

Unless you're planning to pitch a tent at Gunsan Airport, it might be wise to book some accommodation. The Western Hotel is close by, or you could always travel into Heungdeok-myeon's centre. It's 40 kilometres away.
