Relax and enjoy the tranquil natural setting as the sun goes down over the sea while enjoying a wine and cheese and listening to many birds calling (this area was once a large bird sanctuary) and watching the large number of local kangaroos hopping around you. Many keen photographers frequent this location capturing the beauty of the vibrant sunsets each day and the plentiful wildlife.

We stayed for Christmas and the host had decorated the house very festive complete with Christmas door mats. The house was spotless and they cater for everything and everyone, form highchair, kids toys, beach cart complete with beach shelter picnic blanket, dog bowls all the cooking utensils you can think of, they have really thought about what geust might need and then some. Thoroughly recommend you won't be disappointed

Did we enjoy our stay....YES very much

Very quiet position, bush on 2 sides and couldn't hear any neighbours anywhere really. Bush turkey out the back was entertaining as were the kangaroos and birds. Loved sitting in the outdoor area. Very roomy home. Thank you for extras like coffee pods and anything you would need to help with cookjng. More than an ample supply of crockery and cutlery. Very easy home to walk into and feel settled quickly. 3 year old grandson even commented how much he loved it. His favourite was walking to the beach, well, either being carried or the trolly supplied. Thank you for the surprise of grocery bags in the garage. We would stay there again for sure but my son wants to try other places as we've been going to Hervey Bay for 25 years.

Family catch up with fur friend

Beautifully presented property with absolutely everything you need at the house. Best pet friendly property we have ever stayed in. Is extremely well equipped for young children as well. Easy 5min walk through the nature reserve to the sand flats and rocky coast line. Ample room to park your boat if needed. Highly recommend. 😊
