Very large room. Comfortable beds and clean bathroom. Staff are very helpful. We watch elephants very closely from the hotel buffet area.

We have been travelling throughout Sri Lanka staying in hotels for a couple of nights each time, this one was FABULOUS, from the moment you come through the gates, you feel that you're somewhere special, you are then presented with a beautiful turn of century colonial house, the room was HUGE with high ceilings and the biggest antique four poster bed you've ever seen, and matching furniture, the fully modern bathroom is accessed through and old antique door, and the waterfall shower was superb. We dined at the restaurant twice and found the food very good and well priced, we had opted for the continental breakfast, which was again very good, very highly recommended

A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. We enjoyed the food and the service was really nice and kind. Ashley is a character and brings some personality to the table. It’s very isolated but it’s possible to get a Tuktuk to tea plantations (1h) or hike down to a waterfall close by. A beautiful stay! Thanks
