The Glory Condo Dogo, 20 kilometres from central Hanjimi, is another option in Hanjimi.

Caviar or corn chips? However you roll, you're sure to enjoy a trip to Asan, 30 kilometres away. With the Onyang Folk Museum and Maeng Sa-seong House to check out, you won't be bored here. If you're keen to spend a few nights in Asan, look into the rates at the Onyang Grand Hotel and Hoseo Hotel. 70 kilometres to the east of Hanjimi you'll find Cheongju, which is home to the Grand Plaza Cheongju and Unique Hotel NAMOO. The Cheongju National Museum and the Cheongju Early Printing Museum are up there with the most popular points of interest to experience for those visiting Cheongju.

Make your way 100 kilometres south and you'll come across Jeonju, a regional centre with a population of 700,000. While you're in this neck of the woods, you'll be able to whip out your camera and get your tourist on at the Jeonju Zoo, the Sori Arts Center of Jeolla and Miseong Bowling Jang. The Hanji Museum and the Jeonju Korean Traditional Wine Museum are a few more which are sure to offer up some photo ops. There are a number of great hotels available for your stay in Jeonju. The downstairs lobby was beautiful, but you feel like there was a bait and switch when you get upstairs to your room. The smell was so bad until you opened the window and aired your room. The room was small and made me think it was a remodeled motel. The beds were clean along with the bathroom. Unfortunately I didn’t get to sleep much because it was like sleeping on boards. It was great as a break, but I wouldn’t live in the hotel.
