Mother Nature's artwork is on show in multiple places around Hanji-ri. Just 30 kilometres away, Wolchulsan National Park is a great place to start. Suncheonman Bay Ecological Park sits 50 kilometres away and is another ideal spot to find some peace and quiet.

Nothing compares to the atmosphere of a live soccer game! See the Gwangju FC play on their home turf at Guus Hiddink Stadium, an impressive venue 25 kilometres away in Gwangju.

The Hwasun Dolmen Site and Dasan Misoolgwan are quite close to the middle of Hwasun, 11 kilometres to the north. Want more? Naju, 25 kilometres to the west of Hanji-ri, has the Naju Pear Museum and the Yeongsangang River Culture Pavilion.
