Even though there aren't any hotels in Hammarland's centre, there are 11 options within 30 kilometres where you can have a kip (and perhaps hit the mini bar).

It won't take long to get to downtown Hammarland from Hotell Arkipelag and Strandnäs Hotell (although with beds as comfy as these, don't be surprised if you end up running a bit behind schedule!)

You could also consider staying a couple nights at the Hotel Esplanad, which is 17 kilometres from central Hammarland. One more potential spot is the Park Alandia Hotel, 17 kilometres away.

Don't skedaddle before you've checked out the Post och Tullhuset and Mailboat Museum in Eckero. Some of our recommended Eckero hotel options include the Storby Gästhem-Logi and Käringsund Resort & Conference. Alternatively, you could stay in Norrtalje, 75 kilometres to the southwest of Hammarland, where you can pick from the Åtellet Hotell and Sure Hotel by Best Western Roslagen. The Sundsta Golf and the Roslagens Golf Club are some of the most popular attractions to check out for those visiting Norrtalje.

Unless you're going to crash on the floor at Mariehamn Airport, it's probably a good idea to book some accommodation before you fly. The Hotell Cikada is close by, or you could always travel to the centre of town. It's 13 kilometres away.
