Sitting 55 kilometres to the northwest of Hambegamuwa is Nuwara Eliya, a regional hub with a population of 26,000. It's home to some great attractions, like Lover's leap Waterfall, Galway Forest Reserve and Pidurutalagala. If you've got some time up your sleeve, keep the good times rolling with a visit to Holy Trinity Church and Victoria Park.
