In terms of a central location, you won't do better than Le Prieure. It's a fabulous place to chill out after sightseeing your way through the centre of Hagedet.

You may like to have a look at some more places to stay, such as the Le Château d'Orleix or the Le Relais du Bastidou. The first can be found 30 kilometres from the central areas, and the second is 15 kilometres away. If these aren't your style, we'd recommend the Hôtel Restaurant du Bearn, which is 30 kilometres from all the action.

Sitting 35 kilometres to the southwest of Hagedet is Pau, a regional centre with a population of 83,000. It's home to some great attractions, like the Musee des Beaux-Arts, Zenith de Pau and the Musee Bernadotte. Got another day or so to play with?
