Organising a trip to Haedang-ri? Bear in mind that there is no accommodation in or close to Haedang-ri's centre.

There's no need to worry though. Hwasun is located around 35 kilometres away and has some impressive hotels, including the Ramada Plaza Gwangju and Kumho Hwasun Resort.

Attractions and Hotels Near Haedang-ri

If you still have itchy feet, why not get out and see more of the South Jeolla region? Don't even think about going home without visiting a few of the region's stunning beaches, coastal plains and rivers. Castles and traditional villages are also worth a peek. Adventurous travellers can also have a crack at popular regional pursuits like mountain climbing and hiking.

Looking for things to do? Kick back and spend the day visiting the Jeollanamdo Agricultural Museum and Hanyeong Cinema Bowling Center.
