definitely not a 4.5 star hotel

Not even close to a 4.5 star hotel. Was asked to sign a form in Korean to check-in, despite not understanding Korean, with two check-boxes helpfully circled to share personal information and receive marketing. Also told where buffet dinner was downstairs, but not that it is closed Mon-Thu except for tour groups, leaving only the food court open. Swimming pool and sauna are an additional charge. No air conditioning in the room despite being very warm in April: 28 deg C in the room even with the balcony door wide open and entry door cracked. We had to ask for an electric fan to bring it down to 26 deg C. Forget about staying here in the summer

A lot needs improvements.

Room and general area temperature was set to heater mode even on a warm spring day. Room facing main road was noisy. Lift was extremely slow and limited for such a big hotel. Though the rooms were big, it lacked character and bathrooms were badly designed. Location is not ideal unless u have a car. I really can’t find anything likeable about this hotel and its value.

Mediocre experience.

No one greeted us upon arrival. We had to bring our luggage in and manage it until after we checked in. Service overall was poor except for a couple of the staff members were helpful. The beds are terrible soft and uncomfortable. Room service was difficult to order and no follow up.

The position of this hotel is wonderful. Some rooms have a magnificent view of the lake. Also the entrance hall is impressive. Our Room showed its age; bathroom has been remodeled; very simply furnished. Towels were greysh and looked like they had been in use for a long time. Biggest disappointment was the sauna / bath house. Visibly old, small for the size of the hotel, just two stall for hair drying, no fancy lotions.. my local YMCA looks fancy in comparison. Hadbeen in use for a long time.

This is a family hotel; well located and if you have a room to the lake, the view is really nice. On the downside: food! The only available restaurant is like a canteen and works only if you have a Korean phone number. The buffet either was not working at dinner or was booked out. Very disappointing.

Parking was easy. Breakfast buffet was reasonably priced with good selections. Large but sparse room with Korean floor, better than carpet in my opinion. Sound insulation can be better. There is a fee for using the swimming pool, I have never seen that in my life but I guess it’s common in Korea.
