Breakfast was prepared well by the staff. Toast and drinks are self-serve. The dining area views of the mountains are gorgeous. The private hot spring tub in the room was so relaxing for my sore muscles. The design of the building allows privacy. The overall feel of the place was relaxing, contemplative, and rejuvenating.

There was less than a quarter bag of toilet paper when we arrived . Everything felt damp. It’s obvious that owner tried to make everything clean but the property is just old. Check in process was less than desirable. If it weren’t because the owner just happed to drop in we wouldn’t know how to get in to the lobby. Check out was easy. We just had to drop the key in the basket.

Luminous Hot Spring Resort Taitung. A beautiful resort in the countryside, far away from any city. Beautiful landscape, spacious rooms with their own private onsen and a great buffet restaurant with local produce and dishes of aboriginal cuisine. A great place if you want calm and tranquilty. It has a spa, a hot spring outside pool, great views and beatiful lawns were you can pass the time looking at the local flora and fauna
