One more option is the Parador de El Hierro, which is an awesome choice if you're fine with travelling 11 kilometres to the centre.

Everyone knows Aussies just love to have a good time, so consider chilling out a little longer and going to the Garajonay National Park and Valle Gran Rey Beach in Valle Gran Rey, 70 kilometres to the northeast of Guarazoca. If you want to spend a few nights in Valle Gran Rey, look into the Complejo Solvasa Laurisilva and Hotel Gran Rey. 75 kilometres to the north of Guarazoca you'll find Fuencaliente de la Palma, which is home to the Bungalows Casas Colon and La Palma & Teneguia Princess Resort. Whether you're just passing through or staying in Fuencaliente de la Palma, be sure to visit Fuencaliente Lighthouse and San Antonio Volcano.

Los Llanos de Aridane is home to around 21,000 people. You'll find it 90 kilometres north of Guarazoca. Local attractions that are well worth your time are the Puerto Naos Beach, Volcano Tube of Todoque and the Las Manchas Wine Museum. There's all sorts of accommodation options available in Los Llanos de Aridane. However, the Sol La Palma Hotel, Sol La Palma Apartamentos and Adjovimar Apartamentos are some of the most popular. The hotel is situated in a spectacular location and not withstanding the swimming pool being out of use it is great place to spend time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a long way from anywhere and car hire is essential. The only downside is that dinner menu is not particularly extensive with very few vegetarian options this means in my opinion that the hotel is best suited for short stays which is a shame because the hotel has a lovely ambience.
