Our room was small, but cozy (1 bed, 2 adults). I loved the poet theme and found the whole place cute and quirky. I’ve seen reviews about the showers and hot water so I want to mention our experience. Our shower did take a few minutes to get the hot water going, but once we had hot water it stayed hot long enough for both of us to shower, so overall it was not an issue. WiFi also worked well. The location was great for us. Just a few minutes walk to downtown, restaurants, and bars. It was close enough to the city center that we could usually walk back to the hotel to use the bathroom instead of paying to use public facilities. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We were able to get by with minimal Spanish speaking skills. Overall, for the price and location, I would stay here again if I’m lucky enough to visit Guanajuato in the future.

Muy buen servicio, amabilidad y cortesia del personal. Bonitas habitacionesy mas que nada, la ubicacion es excelente. Algo que mejoraria serian los colchones, todos los dias amaneci con dolor de espalda. Tambien que no solo sirvieran desayuno sino tambien cena. Por ultimo, debwrian de aprovechar la terraza para un bar tranquilo

A lovely hotel, with very friendly, helpful, and responsive staff the location is great for seeing the sights of Guanajuato, though it can get loud during the evening and nights as there’s 2 bars down the street. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast served at the hotel restaurant was about as tasty as any other establishment in town. Overall, great value for the price of the stay.

Excelente hotel, muy buen servicio, y muy bien ubicado. La cama fue un poco incómoda para mí, pero a mi pareja no le molestó. Sería útil que le pusieran algún indicador en las llaves de la regadera para saber cuál es fría y cuál es caliente y no tener que desperdiciar agua investigando.

Stop searching! Book a room. You won’t regret it

Stop looking for a hotel in centro GTO. Seriously! We stayed in a very quiet room. Was dark and quiet for sleeping. Room 101B. An excellent room as I am a light sleeper. This hotel is truly close to everything and will not disappoint. If you have trouble with stairs - this isn’t the place for you. I may be 100% wrong, but the elevator I saw did not go to reception. A handicap guest would have to climb 2 sets of stairs. Albeit beautiful stairs. The staff are lovely & always helpful. English is spoken. I’m trying to speak more Spanish & they surprised me. We practiced together.

It was a pleasure staying in Meson de los poetas. Beautiful and very clean, the breakfast there was amazing and all the workers there were very kind. Very cloths to they Jardin and theatre beautiful l would recommend this hotel 💯 just let them know you want a view to the city

This property is gorgeous and well worth the price. Some people mentioned the standing fan was not enough, but I found it to be just fine at night with the screen door open. The only small thing I expected was for the bedding to be cleaned and swapped out when the room was cleaned. All of the same bedding was just reapplied during cleaning and not swapped with new clean items. However, given the environmental friendliness and water cautiousness of the hotel, I can appreciate not wanting to waste excess water to clean sheets and blankets daily.

Excelente servicio la verdad, nuy agusto ,muy cómodo y excelente personal. Desde el personal de recepción, alberto, fernando. Muy grato y me quedo con excelente sabor de boca. Lo único que falta y es en todo guanajuato más estacionamientos y que queden más cerca. Pero hermoso hotel y instalaciones. Terrazas excelentes en 4to y 5to piso.

This is a nice hotel in a very centric place at the center of Guanajuato. Just be aware that if you have a car it needs to be kept about a mile away from the hotel.
