Horific experience. They posted the picture of the lodge and mplied it was walking distance to the "Lodges ~Ski Trails" It is not. It is a dump of a place, across from a industiral site, which is a 50 minute drive from the lodge in the posing. The seller did not like my overly angry compliants; but ...

With a stay at this cabin in Marlinton, you'll be a 4-minute walk from Pocahontas County Courthouse and 6 minutes by foot from I.O.O.F. Lodge Building.
This cabin was beautiful inside and very well laid out. Not to mention it is very close to many restaurants. The only thing I would like to see done is hot water, the shower was not hot it was at best luke warm. Other than this I would highly recommend this place to others.
