Rooms not attached to lodge (separate multiple buildings)—nearly impossible to find your room after dark. Dated, small, but clean with nice beds. Check in tedious. Food terrible, cafeteria style. Go to El Trevor hotel restaurant instead for an amazing, well priced meal with a stunning view and remarkable service!

The accommodation was very good and the meals were good too.
All the staff were very helpful.
Location in great but arriving at to your room late at night is very difficult as there are no illuminated signs, so it's better to arrive while there are still some lights out. We arrived late, and besides the difficulty finding our assigned room, we were given the keys to the wrong room, we walked into a room where a father and young son where sleeping and scared the living daylights out of them! so we had to go back to the reception to get a new room. The rooms are basic Motel 6 level. No ventilation, smelled of smoke and men's locker room, the towels and blankets are paper thin, we had no extra blankets in our room and had to wait two nights before we got them. I ended up using my winter jacket as blankets as it was cold at night. There was no hand soap by the sink so I had to move the shower gel back and forth to the sink and back to the shower until the brought a new bottle. Terrible service, terrible room. Try to stay in the other hotels inside the park.
The nice staff at check in counter. Welcoming coffees in the room was nice too.
If it’s possible need one more chair in a room.
It’s convenient that a gift shop was open early in the morning.
Loved being IN the park! So conveniently located near the store and post office. The rooms seem recently renovated and the bed was comfortable!! Side note - the food is unexpectedly really good!

The room was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful and location within the park was fantastic.
The staff was so nice and the restaurant was
Excellent . We can use kiosk and the quality of food
Was the beyond of expectations.
If I will visit Grand Canyon, definitely I will stay here again
Travelers, be noted that room 7058 and 7059 are the rooms next to the ice machine and the F.A.C.P room. We were awakened every hour during the night by such a vibrating and loud noise. We mentioned it to the front desk staff but they just said they did not konw such thing. They were lying!!! Grand Canyon gives us good impression but the Yavapai Lodge ruined it. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone as they don't care about the customers. As a gold member of Expedia I did not receive good service but bad experience in stead.
Very nice quiet place, pretty clean and smells good. We didn’t try breakfast, it’s not included. There is a grocery and souvenir store next to the hotel. Buildings with rooms are located very close to the main lodge building. The room looks like usual motel room, nothing crazy: TV, Keurig coffee machine, fridge.
