The venue used texting for any needs and they were prompt and fulfilled requests without difficulty
Conveniently located inside the Grand Canyon but that's about it. Check-in was late - I was told the room was not ready because they were busy. Property is old and probably have seen a lot of traffic - entering the building and the room you get hit with this old moldy smell that doesn't give good vibes. The dining hall was questionable - overpriced chicken undercooked, hygiene was questionable. Saw a busser drop their cleaning cloth on the floor, stepping on it, then picked it up and wiping tables with it. This was the most expensive place we stayed during our 4 days trip, yet I would say the quality was worst.
This lodge gets the job done. While not luxurious it is very practical for a Grand Canyon visit. The bus route is right in front and the visitor center close by. The room was fine with basic amenities. The lodge had a good tavern for dinner. I recommend the elk melt. And the breakfast was pretty solid if you do the buffet or cafeteria menu. Also, the market nearby was very convenient for souvenirs, food and beverages with a reasonable wine selection.
Old facility. Air conditioning not working. No hot water for shower. Very loud noise in the room near facility room all day long even in night and morning. Will never lodge here anymore.
Perfect for our needs to accomodations while hiking the Canyon. The shower was wonderful hot water with amazing water pressure. Room location was perfect. Close to trails but not in the dense area of the village. Parking perfect. Dinig at lodge not a good experience. Lower quality food with terrible service.
