Stunning Views and Great Hotel Staff, but the Restaurant Was a Disappointment
The views of the Grand Canyon from the lodge were absolutely breathtaking — truly some of the best you can experience. The hotel staff was also exceptional: courteous, helpful, and attentive throughout the stay.
However, the attached restaurant had the worst service I’ve encountered. Meals took well over an hour to arrive, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and unresponsive. It was uncomfortable watching guests grow frustrated — some even arguing with their partners, likely out of stress and confusion over the long wait times.
While the lodge itself is worth visiting for the views and service, I’d strongly recommend finding other dining options nearby.
