Room has some updates but could use more. Front desk staff was nice and changing reservations worked out through Expedia. They could use more housekeeping staff. Not the cleanest. Housekeeping was around but we had to get our own cot from the hallway. The first cot was not clean, so chose another. It is a campground like atmosphere, so expect that. Bring a flashlight due to being a “dark sky” area. We used our car to go to points of interest, village, store, and lobby because nothing is super close.
What a wonderful experience. I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to stay inside Grand Canyon National Park and Yavapai Lodge. I highly recommend staying at Yavapai Lodge when visiting the Grand Canyon. The food at the lodge was 't the best.
The experience at Yavapai Lodge was lovely. The room was clean , comfortable. The staff were pleasant , patient & welcoming. The overnite stay was short but sweet & truly a wonderfully breathtaking experience which included some wild life sitings as exiting National Park !
I would definitely recommend a stay here
We stayed at Yavapai Lodge East for our recent visit to Grand Canyon. The hotel is in good condition and we really liked our room. Breakfast is paid but has really good variety. The lodge has dining other options as well. Very close to the Grand Canyon points. Overall we liked the experience here. The only bad experience we had was regarding check in process to the hotel. The checkin area and your rooms are actually a bit far and are in different buildings. I had to go 6 six times back and forth for room key to work, it wasted my 2 hours and creates lot of troubles for us. And even requesting to give us me another room as we were tired and had small kids( 2 year and 8 year) the staff keep on making me going and trying to the same room. Eventually the service guy mentioned that the room I was assigned to us was not even ready, and then only front staff agreed to give us a different room. If you are coming at night time to Grand Canyon to Yavapai, please consider this situation and have some buffer.
Great place to stay in Grand Canyon. It is in the park. Great access to south rim and buses that are very convenient. Food was good at the restaurant, though a bit pricy. There's a grocery store right at this location. You can save money for food there. Room was nice, and cleaning and front desk personnel were super.
Very clean rooms. Everything we needed was in these rooms.

Check-in was fine and fast. It is a little old property, so you will stay where you would expect. Easy access to every single point of grand canyon which makes so easy to look around from early morning to evening!
Our room Das Not Have microwave, enough towels, lighting and hanger. Very difficult to use bathroom, no towel hanging, no holder for safety in and out to the tab. It is dangerous esp. for elder generation. No table lights, too.
