Book Governor's Harbour hotels

My family of 4 stayed for 6 nights in late March. The house was clean and well equipped with comfortable beds. There are many chairs, coolers, towels, snorkeling gear, and even some floaties available for use. The view is amazing, I could never tire of the view. The beach is a short walk down a couple flights of wooden stairs. The sand is fine, soft, white with pink mixed in. You can walk for miles and miles in either direction. We will be back!

This place was over the top! It had everything we needed and so much more! Jane was super helpful but never intrusive. The pool was the highlight of our daughter’s vacation. We did have our 3 year old stay in the master with us so she wasn’t on the other side of the pool, but there’s so much space it wasn’t an issue at all. The grandparents certainly appreciated the privacy (and quiet) of having their room separated from the main house by the courtyard/pool. We can’t wait to go back!

The Beach House at Flipper’s Refuge was perfect for us in every way! The place is immaculate, I’m not kidding when I say you could eat off the floor! Flipper is the ultimate host, she is friendly and kind and exudes an upbeat and joyful energy but she knows exactly when to show up and when to give you space. She lives next door and was there for us when we needed her and invisible when we did not. She knows everything and everyone on the island and made a call for us when we suddenly needed a taxi at the last minute. The decor is fun and cheerful and the beds were super comfortable with brand new mattresses and crisp air dried sheets. There was not one thing we needed during our 5 day stay that was not immediately available. The location is ideal with breathtakingly beautiful beach at the bottom of the street and the mid-island location in governor’s harbor is perfect for accessing all of that Eleuthera has to offer in all directions. We can’t wait to go back!!

What a fabulous place. Very clean, unbelievable views, amazing porch that is huge with a great view of the perfectly blue Atlantic- wow.

The property was nice, quiet and peaceful. I truly enjoy the tranquility of the property. My only concern is the area gets dark if you’re alone but the island I extremely safe. I would book again with a few friends.

The house is well appointed with everything that you need to live there. There are a collection of toiletries as well as TP and PT. The kitchen has all you need to cook (stay like you live there) with seasonings -we added garlic powder, mustard, Mayo and salad dressing- all the small appliances and kitchen equipment is there. The grill is nice, and we used it a few times. Your beach days are covered with chairs, mats, toys and snorkel gear for the family. Bring your fishing poles! Don’t fill your suitcase with beach towels they have many. The lovely pool and deck with lounges gives you something to do on your “down time.” The two upper decks are ideal for sunrise, sunset, star gazing, meals and a spectacular space launch we saw go right over head!! The location is perfect for exploring the island top to bottom. Jethro and Cate, your hosts, go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. With tips on where to eat, what to see and things you shouldn’t miss while you’re staying. If you want to live like a local and have it feel like your home. Stay here, I assure you you won’t be disappointed.
