Gouda Hotels with Parking

I’ve given up trying to write a fair and just review because every time I do this you people at Expedia just keep on rejecting it! So I’ve left my own personal damning review elsewhere and I’ve messaged the hotel directly. Let’s not bother sending me an email telling me I can’t leave this as a review either thanks

The room was clean and nice, but the property charges €20 for parking. Breakfast was very expensive (I think it was €23) and the selection is terrible. Not much bread, no fried/scrambled egg included - extra €6). Cheese and meat was nothing really to write home about. Overall, not very good at all. Ok, if it were a 3-star hotel it would be decent, but for 4-star?

Everything in the hotel was outstanding especially the staff. They were friendly, pleasant, well informed, tops!!

This is a decent place overall, but our room was very dark with poor lighting. There was also an unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom, likely because there is no exhaust fan. The shuttle service to Schiphol Airport is very convenient, which is a big plus. The hotel is adjacent to the Bastion Hotel and the buildings are connected, but access to the Best Western entrance is from the corner and is not very convenient. We booked the room through Expedia and selected a room with breakfast, but later learned from the hotel reception that breakfast was not included, which was disappointing. Overall, the stay was average with a few convenience benefits but also some drawbacks. ⭐️🏨✈️

Clean room, nice staff, and good breakfast. I did not use parking. Overall I am happy with my stay.

The staff was unfriendly and at times rude. We requested for pillows and they refused saying they don’t have the keys for the room where bedding items are stored. The bathroom drain was clogged, we had to walk in the puddle after every shower. Not a positive experience at all.
