Although there are no listed hotels in Gorgomilos itself, there are 9 digs within 30 kilometres where you can hit the sack (and perhaps hit the mini bar).

After waking up in your outrageously cosy bed at Sesa Boutique Hotel and Hotel Ionian Theoxenia, it won't take long to get to Gorgomilos (so long as you don't hit that snooze button too many times!)

Snapping up a room at the Princess Lanassa is another option if you're still after a spot to hit the hay. It's located 20 kilometres from central Gorgomilos. The Orizontes Tzoumerkon is an alternative option, just 25 kilometres away.

Don't shoot through before you've gone to the Nea Sampsous Square and Ancient Kassopi in Preveza. The Preveza Beach & Sport Village and Poseidon Beach Hotel are a few of the apartment and hotel options here. Alternatively, you could stay in Ioannina, 40 kilometres to the north of Gorgomilos, where you'll find the Grand Serai Congress & Spa and Krikonis Suites Hotel. While in Ioannina, set aside some time to visit Tekmon and Kastritsa cavern.

The Paragaea Olive Oil Museum, Venetian Castle and Erimokastro - Venizianische Burg are just some of the sweet attractions in Parga. This regional centre is 45 kilometres west of Gorgomilos and has a population of 2,000. Why not also see what's on offer at Parga's Castle and Valtos Beach? The Lichnos Beach Hotel & Suites and Irida Boutique Hotel are just a couple of recommended hotels in Parga.

Unless you're planning to pitch a tent at Ioannina National Airport, it's probably a good idea to book some accommodation before you fly. The Anemolia Resort is not too far away, or you could always travel to the centre of town. It's 40 kilometres away.
