I had a very bad experience with expedia my reservation was canceled 20 min before check in and was no help was so disappointed had to book something close by it was my son's graduation surprise but when I checked in this other place the owners went beyond to make our stay great friendly gave us a free boat ride was an amazing experience made something bad turn into an amazing experience thank you forever grateful the nicest sweetest people and an awesome place to stay

Man it was awesome. Felt like home away from home. We literally had like a perfect beach nook. Watching the lake through a thunderstorm when we arrived to waking up to a super beautiful sunrise that followed with an absolute gorgeous day at the lake. The decks/balcony gave way to plenty of lounging in the sun while the hammock let us sway forever in the breeze, listening to the water. Lots of birds tweeting by & this sweet local feline who kept us company while we fished(caught 1 catfish), built sand castles, danced in the huge yard & hunted for pretty rock/sea glass treasures! At dusk my husband made a supreme roasty toasty fire in the pit for us & we got to see the full red moon come up! Loved that we could relax here as a 3 piece family comfortably. The kitchen was well kept(the whole house really) & having the grill to make delicious meats was also legit. A/C workes great & we appreciated the ol' dvds too!-glad there was a rake in the shed to clear a patch of beach for my son to play!Thankyou for hosting our family! Will definitely book here again

Great place to relax

It was such a great place and peaceful! The house was clean and the my kids loved the game room!!

The property was great for our family of 22 staying for the long weekend. Plenty of space. It would have been nice to have a layout of the property (which bedrooms were where, not just Bedroom #1) so that we could arrange family members to share bathrooms. But there was plenty of space for us. The game room was fantastic! We had a blast gathering there and celebrating together. Two kitchens and a huge pantry were quite helpful since we had a large crowd. Easy to park all our cars. Nice to have the dock right on the property for fishing and getting on/off our boat. Communication was good and had quick responses. Hope to use the property again for our next family celebration.

This motel is very out dated! There bathroom knobs are missing. The beds was on 2x4 and plywood! Nothing matched! Its ok if you are workers! But not recommended for a family!
