Sorry! As much as we've tried, we haven't been able to find any hotels in the centre of Gjesvær.

There's no need to worry though. Nordkapp is located approximately 25 kilometres away and boasts some awesome places to crash, such as the Scandic Bryggen and Nordkapp Vandrerhjem - Hostel.

Attractions and Hotels Near Gjesvær

If you've been gifted with the wanderlust gene (no duh, you're here right?), then we're pretty sure you'll want to check out more of the Finnmark region. Nature lovers should plan an outing to Gjesvær's stunning beaches, coastal plains and forests. A few other must-sees to whack on your list hit are traditional villages. If the weather is nice (or even if it's not), have a whirl at some exciting activities like cross-country skiing, snow shoeing and tobogganing.

Unless you're planning to spend a night on the floor of Valan Airport, it might be wise to book some accommodation. The North Cape Guesthouse is pretty close by, or you could always travel into Gjesvær's centre. It's 25 kilometres away.

Staff were friendly, room was all we needed. Very disappointed with the fact they didn't do food of any description in the evening in restaurant, especially with the weather being as bad as it was, we were snowed in and had to stay an extra night. Food was provided for a group that were staying but for some reason they wouldn’t let us have anything even tho we offered to pay. Apart from that we loved our adventure to the north cape!
