We stayed for a week at Anand Kashi and had an excellent experience. Vijay (and initially Saurabh) at the reception took good care of us starting from our check-in and throughout our stay. We took their car for sightseeing and chauffeur Devender was very knowledgeable about all the local places and provided us excellent service. Pankaj/June and Chef Rajendar at the restaurant really catered to our culinary needs. Nikhil at Security provided us protection from the monkeys which I can say is the only negative at the resort. Even though we had a balcony with an excellent view of the Ganges, we had to be watchful of our surroundings as wild monkeys would appear all of a sudden. The resort folks do try to chase them away but they would come back occasionally. So, having food sitting on the balcony is a definite “no”.
The view from the resort is truly breathtaking and to be a part of Ganga Aarti every evening is divine. Overall, we highly recommend stay at this resort.
