Stress tip: Stand up, stretch a little, book an Occitanie hotel, go to the airport, jump on a plane, never return. Or something like that. While you'll have a hard time staying in the very centre, there is accommodation close by. Select from 4 hotels within 10 kilometres of Gazost's heart.

Some of the best places to stay within easy reach of the centre are the La Grange Aux Marmottes and Hotel du Lavedan.

You may also like to try the Hotel Continental - Balneario de Panticosa, which is situtated 35 kilometres away. Or maybe the Grand Hotel Moderne, just a distance of 12 kilometres from Gazost. If those options don't float your boat, you might prefer to go with the Hotel Vignemale or the Odalys Hotel-Residence Aladin.

Looking for more to do? Spend the day visiting the House of Sainte Bernadette and Chateau Fort Pyreneen Museum. You'll find them in Aspin-en-Lavedan, 10 kilometres to the northwest of Gazost. The Hotel is less than 5 minutes walk to the Lourdes Sanctury and local shopping. However plan well for travel to the hotel from the lourdes train station since its difficult to get a taxi or Uber. We finally took a local bus #L5 which stops at St. Joseph Gate of the Sanctuary very close to hotel. Room and bathroom was clean and modern and very spacious. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and got us a taxi for the travel back to train station. Breakfast was great with many choices and our option also included custom omelets. Would definitely recommend it and come back again if revisiting.
