Book Garden Route hotels

Great hotel in a great location, right by the water and a short walking distance to all the restaurants at the marina. Parking right at the hotel as well. Rooms are lovely, staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good - will be staying here again next time we are in Knysna.

This was our 3rd stay at this hotel and we were disappointed for the first time. It feels like things are being let go. Main restaurant isn't open for dinner so you either eat at the sports bar nearby or have to travel into a restaurant in George. We stay here for the golf, which is great but will probably go elsewhere next time around.

Beautiful property with well-kept gardens and surroundings. The room was very spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The only negative I can mention is the air conditioning, which was quite loud, and the extra sofa bed, which made so much noise that we sometimes woke up even from a deep sleep. The restaurant served very tasty, high-quality food, but the included breakfast was the same every morning. There are two pools on the property, both clean and well maintained.

The staff were just the best, and the views can’t be beaten!

Gondwana offers a fantastic experience for anyone looking for a short Safari within the confines of a private game concession. There is a diverse array of animals to view in amongst beautiful scenery despite being close to Mossel Bay. Our accommodation went way beyond our expectations - a huge 3 bedroom lodge all to ourselves. We loved the 15+ minute self drive to get there! The food at Gondwana is nothing like you get on a typical safari - it’s more like a 5* hotel experience with so much choice (take aways available!). In summary we had an excellent experience
