No drawers to put socks and underwear in, which was weird. However, the location is so good that it seems a small nit. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Scaffolding around the exterior of the building. Scaffolding ruined the view from our window. Woke up to construction noise at 8:30.

The location is fantastic! However, I'd booked and paid for a "Standard Double Room" and received a "Twin room" which was right outside a scaffolding, which blocked my view, and construction started around 6am. I had a pretty terrible sleep for the 2 evenings I was there. There was not even bottled water in my room, so I had to request some at the front desk. Overall I would have enjoyed my stay much more if they had put me into a room I'd actually picked. The front staff were also not very welcoming so I would likely not stay here again.

Lovely hotel that’s right next to Latin quarter. Everything is in walking distance. The hotel gave a list of restaurant's and activities. We went to a small restaurant called Finnagans the hotel recommended by hotel. It was amazing homemade authentic Irish food. I love Galway. Beautiful city.

Very convenient property-well maintained and perfect for our Galway trip. We did not have a car and the location was so convenient. Breakfast was not free, but a great option especially if purchased the day prior for a lesser fee. The pub/restaurant offered a great selection as well. The staff was so nice and accommodating.

Staff was friendly. Nice location. But very loud. They placed us in a room right next to the lobby on the first floor. Constant banging of the public bathroom door. Constant noise. Stuffy room and uncomfortably hard bed.

This hotel was right in the heart of activity. Very walkable with many restaurants and pubs near by. I have stayed at a Leonardo Hotel in the past and do like this hotel chain. Definitely, stay at these hotels in the future.

Bathroom had unfinished drywall above toilet. Hole in ceiling showed exhaust fan was not connected to vent pipe. Never mentioned at check in. Paid twice for room as we incorrectly booked wrong month. Tried to correct mistake w/ minutes. Hotel would not budge. Leonardo never again.

First of all pictures give the impression it is waterfront. It is not. Waterfront is a few blocks away. We booked our double room over a month in advance of stay. We got there and they put us in handicap assistance room on first floor facing busiest street in the city. Room was also just adjacent to the lobby. To say it was loud and hard to sleep was an understatement, Front desk staff was rude and had no interest in helping. We are not handicapped but if you are do not stay at this hotel. They put you in the worse room in the entire hotel.

Good location

Nice location with lots to do within walking distance. Had an issue with the shower not draining but maintenance arrived quickly to fix. The bed linens could have been softer, but overall pleased with our one night stay.
