Very convenient to both train and bus service as well as being in the heart of the downtown area near to Eyre Square Park and the main shopping pedways. The rooms are quite small but are manageable for very short stays. Having a large fan provided helped compensate somewhat for the absence of A/C.

comfortable, clean and great location

you cannot beat the location - next to the train station and within walking distance of the key tourist areas. the cafe in the hotel is also very good. the room is comfortable but a bit small. only issues are thin walls so you hear your neighbors (muffled but still hear them) at times and the showers designed so poorly your whole bathroom gets wet so we had to put a lot of towels down.

Unbearably warm room. Staff provided fan, but still a very uncomfortable sleep. The city Pods are also basement rooms with windows at ground level into the parking lot. Either have to shut with window and have no light or have window open and have zero privacy. Great location, friendly staff, awesome hotel bar… just avoid the City Pods

Great Place to Enjoy Galway

This hotel has a lot of character. Room was nice, breakfast was excellent and location grand. It would be nice if there was a place to be able to drop off luggage but parking illegally across the street for 5 minutes worked out fine.

Well-located right off Eyre Square in central Galway, the hotel provides all the necessaries - comfortable room and excellent staff at reception desk. However, rooms are small and there is no gym, if those are important factors in making a decision .

Lovely Central Galway Hotel

Eyre Square Hotel was a great little hotel in a perfect location in Galway! The room was compact but very comfortable. Bathroom door wasn't the most private and the mirror had a large crack in it (unclear if purposeful or not). Very walkable location to everywhere we went and the staff was helpful about the parking, which was down the block for a discounted rate. The Hotel had security at night. Good value, would recommend!
