Terrific location. Great bar and coffee shop. Staff is lovely. Comfortable beds. We had a quiet room. My only complaint would be the lighting in the room is not great. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

If I had to sum up my rooms at the Eyre Square Hotel in one word it would be - disgusting. The backs of the doors (including the strange partial glass door to the bathroom) were covered in dripping unknown substances, surfaces were covered in messes, carpets had food remnants, the vinyl headboards stained, windows filthy inside and out, and the mattress nearly made me sick when confieming lack of BB. If not for the fact we were a large family multi generational group traveling on a busy weekend from abroad - there is no way we would have stayed. The front desk was pleasant and tried to be helpful sending the cleaners back up - who sprayed some cleaning solution but sadly left much of the messes. The location is great but does not make up for the lack of comfort. Also, there was construction noise (alarms) we were unaware of at booking. Definitely do not recommend.

This place is right in the heart of Galway’s shopping area. Only 3 minutes across Eyre Square and you’re presented with so many shopping and dining options. Rooms were nice and service was adequate.

We enjoyed our dinner in the pub. The breakfast was fine. We did have a friendly and pleasant young server who went above and beyond at breakfast. The room was also okay..met our needs for a quick one night stay.
