The staff weren’t lively, hard to understand, and when I asked about early check in, they said an hour which was fine. Came back an hour and they said now it would be another 2-3 hours. Then, after arguing about it for 20 minutes, magically a room appeared they could get us into. They then said they waived the early check in fee which was nice but also the lady that told us an hour never said there was a fee to begin with. If the guy, can’t remember his name for the life of me because honestly didn’t care to, had looked at the rooms first before actually saying there was nothing, that’s one thing. But, nope. Just very unhelpful, not very kind, argumentative.
Secondly, breakfast kind of sucked. Not a very good spread. Hamptons normally have a great food spread, my family exclusively used Hampton or Hilton for 15 plus years. Potatoes were gross. Chicken sausage was a patty and was dry. No bacon. No sausage links. No biscuits. Pastries were dry. Just not good.
