The location is what you’re paying for, the hotel itself is very rustic and dated, not charming enough to make up for the lack of frills. Our room had ants around the bathroom sink, there wasn’t a microwave, the walls were thin, and the plumbing was loud. The service was horrible, who closes a hotel office at 4pm… seriously? We were sent the pin to enter our room, but they never sent us the room number. If you’re just looking for a place to crash for the night this would be perfect for a cheap couple or traveler. 2/5 - would not recommend

Lovely Stay!

The location is charming. The room was small but perfectly fine though I don't recommend the bottom floor as anyone above or even the room next to it can be heard singing and dancing and tapping, walking, flushing. It was a little hard to sleep but the beds are REALLY comfy, there are blankets in there just hunt a little. I would go back as long as I get an upstairs unit :) I had trouble finding how to check in and a lovely man let me know how and then called to see if I got in and they are right across the road at the restaurant so that is nice.

Quaint, funky, old motel on the waterfront of a picturesque working seaport. Clean rooms. Excellent value. The vibe here is great. If you want an upscale spa/resort experience, this isn’t for you. But if you value a real life immersion in a local coastal culture, the sights and sounds of commercial maritime, and a cool little beach you can walk to - then this place is gold…

This was my first visit. I really liked the location, the waterfront. The check in was different. By the looks of it, pets allowed. it was nice seeing all the fur babies. I will come back. PP

Checking in was a breeze . But no microwave. And out dated TV went off every 15 minutes. Clean room . Bathroom commode not for fat guys had to move the sink and hope the plumbing didn't come apart. House keeping was nice . This was room 8. I been staying off and on here for many years. This was my first complaint since staying there in the 90s. It's not a deal breaker but need up date TV's and throw in a microwave.the rooms on the water are nice I've stayed in them. I will return but no tightwad room.

Overnight Stay

The location was perfect, near a handful of high-rated restaurants and in the harbor itself. This was my first experience not checking in with a front desk and doing everything via email/my phone which surprisingly went smoothly. The beds could have been a little cleaner and the light in the bathroom flickered in and out the entire time. I would recommend this place for a quick 1-2 night trip but not necessarily for a longer stay than that.

Daughter-in-law's 40th birthday

I was disappointed I had asked for a room near my son and his family. In order to do that, I needed to pay extra for a downstairs room, which I did. However, room was at the other end of building from where my son was, even though we were the only 2 rooms of the 9 rooms that were occupied. Bigger issue was TV would shut off after a few minutes, then on its own would come back on. I tried to address these issues by text, but difficult trying to communicate with the restaurant being the only option.
