Hotels in Fogo

Hotels in Fogo, Cape Verde, are scarce, but don't go to town on that stress ball just yet. lastminute.com.au has 4 alternative options, all less than 30 kilometres away.

Tortuga B&B and Hotel Santos Pina are two fantastic options. They're about as close to downtown Fogo as you'll find.

The Hotel Xaguate, 11 kilometres from central Fogo, is one more accommodation spot in Fogo.

Attractions and Hotels Near Fogo

If you still have itchy feet, why not get out and see more of the Cape Verde region? Among Cape Verde's natural wonders are its beaches. After you've gotten your zen on in nature, stop by open-air markets. Alternatively, have a crack at some popular local pursuits like mountain climbing, hiking and shore fishing.

Looking for more things to do? Spend the day visiting the Porto Madeira and Parque Natural Serra da Malagueta. You'll find them in Ilhéu, 85 kilometres to the east of Fogo. If you're keen to visit Ilhéu, consider the rates at the Villa Morgana Cape Verde Resort and Hotel Edu Horizonte. Or, you could stay in Praia, 95 kilometres to the east of Fogo, where you can pick from the Pestana Trópico and Praia Village. The Museu Etnográfico de Praia and Market are up there with the most popular points of interest to check out while in Praia.

Admit it! You're freaking out, right? You've booked your flight but nowhere to stay? How about trying the Residencial Nazare? It's pretty much on the doorstep of Praia International Airport, which is only 100 kilometres from Fogo's centre.
