Location, location, location! The hotel is at a corner of the Piazza Signoria--walk out the door and look to the right, and the Palazzo Vecchio is right in front of you, 100 yards away. Our room was really a small apartment--bedroom, bath, sitting room, and a small kitchen (which we did not use). There was only one small problem with the room. The hotel is served by a rather antiquated elevator, and sometimes the door would be left open so that the elevator wouldn't respond to a call. But that was only a minor drawback. There are lots of restaurants in the Piazza Signoria. We had breakfast each day at Rudi's Cafe, right next door to the hotel. And just across the street is Rivoire,a restaurant and chocolate shop that served delicious food and delicious desserts.

Really good location. Very spacious clean room. Bathroom was spacious and clean. We didn't get housekeeping while we were there for three nights. We weren't sure if that was because it was through a weekend or we have to request it.

The kitchen is very poorly equipped. It doesn’t have basic equipment. I can’t review the cleanliness as we changed our room and the staff didn’t get the memo, so it was never cleaned. The rooms are amazingly situated in the heart of Florence.

This is an apartment not really a hotel. Not many services however I think it’s the best location in Florence. I had an amazing view to Piazza Signora. Loved to walk around and felt safe at night.

Dinner with a view

In the heart of Florence! Room 404 has a view of Piazza Signoria that’s to die for! Nice condo style accommodations. Only downside was sewery smell in lower hallways….but it was a muggy hot summer so everything was ripe!

This was an excellent stay overall! The area is unbeatable and easily walkable to all the best destinations within 15 mins. The only downside was the cleanliness of the bathroom (the shower specifically was filled with mold). Overall, a great stay.
