Lovely hotel, terrible pillows

Everything was great, the breakfast was wonderful. However, the bed was a bit hard and the pillows were terrible (very flat). I ended up with a crick in my neck that lasted a week beyond our stay.

Good location.

Good central location for getting around Florence. Breakfast was ok but nothing to rave about. Front desk staff were not overly friendly and didn’t make any effort to make your visit a memorable one. Good choice if it’s important to have a central location.

Fantastic Florence location

Location could not be better. It was close to everything. Rooms are very clean and well laid out. Breakfast was excellent and staff were very helpful when we had an issue with our room. Access does involve a few steps to get to the elevator so large/heavy cases can be difficult to get in and out of the hotel. It is an old building, so be prepared. The rooms are all updated though so well worth it.

Absolutely loved the location and feel of this property. Just a 9 minute walk from the train station and a 3-5 minute walk from everything else. Room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The hotel is located right in the middle of a luxurious shopping area. The breakfast area is more like a beautiful tea room. Great stay!

Beautiful Hotel and Great Location

Loved this hotel and the breakfast was lovely with the best cappuccinos! Our room was a great size, containing a small living room, a spacious bedroom and a very spacious bathroom as well; all very clean. The decor/atmosphere was welcoming for Italy, and the only thing I didn’t love was the stairs lol we put our bags in the small elevator with my husband and I trekked up the stairs, however it was a needed workout after all the carbs and cheese lol overall I would recommend this stay and the location is fantastic!

All in all an amazing place to stay! Staff were very welcoming and in an amazing location! Our room was bigger than most apartments in London but I’m sure it varies. The only two downsides are the only way to get to the rooms are via stairs but have 2 lifts that are pretty much always available for you when you need them. The other one is although it was amazing having our room look out onto the piazza it did mean that we had music going on until 1am. Didn’t affect us too much but if you have kids maybe ask to have an internal room.

Hotel Pendini was an excellent choice. The location is fabulous near the piazza, historical sites and dining. We could walk to everything. The hotel was beautiful, the staff hospitable and the breakfast was delicious! I would highly recommend and will stay again.
