Great location

Great location to the city centre and a 10 minute or less walk to the train station. The room was clean, comfortable beds. They allowed us to keep our bags after checking out. Friendly staff and smooth check in and out. The only issue was the AC was not working properly.

They have a good air condition in which some properties they don’t. Unlimited cold water is superb. iGreat staff!! We have a great time in Florence because of our accommodation! After walking in a very hot weather entering a cool room is the number one you wanted to be.

My stay here was fantastic. It was a short walk from many essentials—from the train station, to markets, restaurants/cafes, and (more importantly, for those on a long trip) foolproof laundromats. The staff were kind, welcoming and very helpful. The room was clean and always well-kept. I would for sure stay here again the next time I’m in town! Highly recommend.

Great location, only around 10 minutes walk to the Duomo. Staff at reception were nice and they let us check-in slightly early as our room was ready. The room itself was clean, a decent size, and modern with a great aircon. Fantastic price for the location and room - would definitely recommend.

Clean & comfortable. Bed was bigger than expected. Breakfast was delicioys & an amazing value - don't skip this! Bathroom was small but modern & the plumping was great (awesome water pressure in shower). Was great for our short stay, but might feel small for a multiday trip.

The hotel controls the central air conditioning system. The thermostat in the room will NOT cool below 24 degrees. The staff tried to accommodate and increase the fan but it was difficult to sleep with 26 degrees. There is a fair amount of construction on the street around the hotel but it is close to the train station which is convenient as you can walk there.

Close to the Firenze sights!

I recently stayed at Hotel Galileo during my visit to Florence. While the hotel had its advantages, there were several issues that impacted my experience. On the positive side, the location is great. It’s conveniently situated near many of the historical sights, making it easy to explore the beautiful city on foot. This was definitely a highlight of my trip. However, there were several challenges during my stay. We experienced multiple power outages, which was quite disruptive and frustrating during the heatwave with 90 degree weather. Additionally, there was ongoing construction noise that made it difficult to relax in our room. Furthermore, upon arrival, I found that one of the rooms was not properly cleaned, which was disappointing. Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential due to its prime location, I hope they can address these issues for future guests.
