The hotel was centrally located and just a 7 min walk from Duomo and was just about 10 min (by taxi) from the main train station of Firenze Santa Maria Novella. Many great restaurants were within a 10 min walk. The hotel staff assisted us with reservations at restaurants and were very accommodating our entire time there. They always greeted us when we walked in. Their breakfast was very good as well. I would stay there again if I went back to Florence.

The location is great , also the hotel looks beautiful but it is in old fashion way in compare with the other hotels it is less amenities, we got two superior rooms but I believe one of them is not superior and air conditioning did not work

My sister and I spent a week here as we explored Florence and the Tuscan areas nearby. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, walking distance to the Duomo, galleries, museums, the Ponte Vecchio, and to tons of restaurants. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel breakfast was fantastic, and on the days we had to leave super early on tours, the staff provided us with a bagged breakfast. The daily happy hour was a great way to wind down before heading out for dinner. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

If you want service before 7am, forget it. Housekeeping does not replenish coffee in rooms, and if you walk down to front desk to get more coffee before 7am you will speak with a snotty old man who you have to wake up so he can tell you no coffee until 7am

Great location - 10min walk from the tram and main station. In the heart of the old city - Uffizzi Gallery, Duomo and Palace Vecchio all 10 min walk max. In the heart of many restaurants and high end shopping. Great breakfast options, staff very welcoming, spacious and comfortable room. I guess my only gripe was being charged on checkout for bottled water from the mini bar as thought this was free (as only drink in the mini bar) Other than that a 5 star stay.
