Romantic accommodation in Ferndale Main Street Historic District

Only a Continental Breakfast….. The parking is TERRIBLE! Only 3 Handicap Parking Spots for the entire hotel! We are handicapped, and had to walk across the street to an additional parking lot. Also the parking “slots” are very narrow! We had a full sized SUV and it was a tight fit!

Good breakfast, clean room and pool heated. Jacuzzi was not functioning well with its jets.

Staff was super friendly, both when I checked in and at checkout. Room was as good as it gets for the price

The room was very clean and the staff was great. When we arrived the office was closed and we had to wait to check in and get our room. When making our reservation we requested handicap accommodations. We were told when checking in that it was. It wasn't! The coffee maker didn't work, the television didn't have live local networks, there wasn't an extra blanket. We won't stay again.

Hot tub closes promptly at 10pm. It’s not by any rooms. Would be nice if it was open later especially when lots of people were relaxing after a long day hiking.

The property is in great shape, and it is stunning to look at — especially all the little details inside. The breakfast is very good and served on one plate (egg- based dish, fruit, sausage/bacon). When we were there, the afternoon tea included a nice charcuterie board. The garden area was closed during our stay, and the mansion didn’t have many guests. We wondered how the small staff could handle a full house when all the rooms were booked as it seemed they didn’t have a lot of time to spare with only a few rooms occupied. The WiFi on the second floor was not very good, and we struggled to keep the connection/had very slow down and upload speeds. Lovely place to stay, and with a few tweaks it could be an amazingly memorable place to stay.
