Travel calories don't count, right? So it's the perfect excuse to treat yourself to fresh fruit, a favourite dessert.

Don't let the language barrier get in the way of a fun holiday! Make your journey to Tonga a more engaging one by putting in the effort to memorise a couple of phrases in the local tongue. 'Ma'u ha 'aho fiefie' can be very handy. It translates to 'happy birthday'. Maybe you'll find 'Sai pē, mālō, fēfē koe?' easier to say? This means 'fine thanks, and you?'.

When it's time to depart, spend the last of your holiday allowance and say one final "Toki sio" to Eua.

When you're set to fly off, allow yourself plenty of time to head to Fua'amotu International Airport (TBU). Situated 25 kilometres to the northwest from the middle of Eua, this is the closest terminal.
